Green Masala (vegan)

Green Masala (Mild) 100g.


A blend of raw spices concentrate used to make quick and easy, healthy meals.


Ingredients: Fresh crushed green chilli, ginger & garlic. Sunflower oil and lemon juice (preservative potassiaum metabisulphite. Ground spices (coriander, cumin, turmeric, garam masala, pepper and salt).


Allergen: Highlighted in bold. Spices may contain traces of peanuts, nuts, sesame seeds, soya, mustard and wheat.


Storage: Cool dry place, once open refrigerate and use within 3 months.


Simple Recipe: To chopped fried onions, add 1tsp masala paste, chopped tomatoes and cook. Add choice of vegetables or chicken. Cover and simmer on low heat. Add half 1/2tsp more of paste, salt and pepper if required. Cooking will generate its own sauce or add coconut milk/tomato paste if preferred. This paste can be used in cooking with vegetables, lentils and daal as well as chicken and meat. Garnish with coriander and serve with rice, roti or naan.


Perfect as Dip: This paste is so versatile you can use to make a dip simply by adding a teaspoonful of paste to a small carton of plain yogurt, add salt and pepper to taste.  As an option add grated carrot for a crunch and sweetness and you are done!
